Kenton Baby & Toddler Group is for children aged under 3 and their parents/carers. It runs every Friday
morning 10-12am during term time at the Victory Hall, Kenton. Costs are £1.50 per child and 50p per
additional child - and we ask that fees are paid for half a term at a time, in advance. This price
includes a snack for your child and refreshments for you.
Each week there is "messy time" - where your child has the chance to explore different materials and
textures, and take part in a creative activity such as painting, printing, sticking, modelling, sticking
and mixing! The messy time activities are different each week, and all materials are provided. At the
end of the morning there is song time - a chance for the children and their parents or carers to join in
with both familiar and new songs and rhymes.
As someone who looks after a child you will know how important play is to them. They use it to develop and
practise skills, it helps them to use their initiative and build social relationships. At Kenton Baby and
Toddler Group they are given the opportunity to play in a safe environment with support. They are also
able to meet other children and form friendships that will develop as they progress onto Pre-School.
As parent/carer you get to meet other parents and carers from the local area.

space for 20 children and their parents/carers in the group at any time, but we are full at the moment.
We do have a waiting list system and places should become free fairly rapidly as children move up to Pre-school.)
